USDOT Safety Management System
The Main Menu signal lights respond to date sensitive items in three areas. They include:
• The eight items in the Company Record.
• The Driver’s License, Medical Certificate, TWIC card, Annual Review and a company specified
item in the Driver Record.
• The 90 Day Inspection, the Annual Inspection, Annual Smoke Test , the Registration Expiration
and a company specified item in the Vehicle Record.
The appropriate GREEN light (no violations pending) will turn to YELLOW when a violation or expiration is 30 days away and the YELLOW light will turn to RED when the violation or expiration occurs.
The PASS BOOK 7 Main Menu will pop up (when you start your computer) whenever there is a YELLOW or RED light present. Red Lights generate an Email Alert to recipients listed in the Company Record.
